These VW T5 T6 Aero Aluminium Cross Bars Silver  (included here as a set of two) sit neatly between the rails on a VW T5 or T6. They are capable of carrying loads up to 50Kg (the closer to the feet of the longitudinal rails they are located the better the system will perform and less strain it puts on the longitudinal rails as the weight is distributed through the roof rail foot without creating a greater levering moment). They are non locking but clamp securely above and below the roof rails and sitting in between have the advantage of not adding much height to the system. Their aerodynamic shape not only looks good but is quieter and more streamlined, helping with fuel economy as well.

When fitting these together please note it is far easier to insert the rubber protective trim to the top by simply lining it up and pushing it down into place. Do not try to slide it in from one end as the friction is too great and it won’t go further than a few frustrating inches!
