The lightweight luxurious Dura-tread camping carpet is a must-have optional extra, specifically created to fit snugly into the main living area of your tent or awning. It is super-soft underfoot, and has been designed to compliment the sharp contemporary aesthetic throughout the Outdoor Revolution product range. As well as adding an extra level of comfort to your camping experience, a Dura-tread carpet is also a practical solution to protecting the groundsheet of your tent and awning from damage potentially caused by furniture, dog claws etc. It incorporates a durable backing which has insulation properties as well as preventing cold/damp ingression from reaching your feet, and ensuring soft, warm and carefree footing throughout your entire living area, even during adverse weather conditions or on harder ground. This carpet is perfectly suited to both indoor and outdoor use. The carpet is supplied in a convenient carry bag, which enables compact packing for ease of portability.

Do I need a Carpet inside the awning?
Sacha says: “The Duratread carpet is the most compact of any carpets we have come across. The pack size is really remarkable small and so if you are worried about the balance of space for all your accessories on your travels vs. the little essentials and luxuries to take with you, this carpet should not feature too heavily on the space concerns, albeit it is a bit heavier than some other manufacturers carpets. This is because it is designed to be heavy duty. It will protect your big investment – the awning – from footwear and furniture creating pressure points on stones below and wearing the groundsheet through. It also adds a thermal insulation and comfort, that just makes camping that bit more cosy. This carpet is best described as a very short pile fleece so it doesn’t hold and trap dirt or snag like some other thicker pile fleece carpets or woven carpets.”
